Question reblogged from The Drugstore Princess

unspicylatino asked: Advice for covering up stretch marks?

drugstoreprincess:

Covering up any type of scar, especially a pitted scar like a stretch mark, is rather difficult.  My best advice is to disguise the area with some self tanning products.  Self tanners will help to even out the skin tone so that the scars won’t stand out as much because they are a different shade.

If you want to go all-out and completely cover stretch marks, get yourself  a really good, silicone-based primer (one designed for filling pores will do the trick) and apply this generously to the afflicted area.  The primer will help smooth the skin and fill in the pitted scars.  Now you can apply makeup or self-tan over your skin and the indentations of the stretch marks won’t be as visible!  :)

Sailor Moon shirts
So I saw a Wonder Woman shirt the other day that said “Girls Will Save the World” and I thought it was a really awesome and empowering feminist phrase, so I decided to do a Sailor Moon version. <3
I was surprised how fun it was to draw the Crisis brooch because I usually hate doing vector stuff. I wanna make mooooore now.

Who run da world?

I write this for my best friend who is struggling with self harm and depression. I just want everyone to know that even if they do feel alone, someone out there cares about you, and it breaks their heart to see you pain, don’t give up.

I believe we have the power to heal ourselves from within, we have all the tools we need at our disposal, all we need is the willingness to be healed.
